Description: Yellow bronze. India, approx.19th century
A small bronze figure depicting Ganesha with a large belly and four arms, seated on a square pase. He is holding various attributes, including a mace, fruit and candy, which he loves. He is snacking on a particularly delicious sweet with his trunk. Ganesha is the remover of obstacles and is worshipped as the god of wisdom and intelligence. A reptile is seen on the front of the base. With silver collector’s number on the bottom.
