H :19.5cm W :13cm This Qing Qianlong Blue-and-White Vase with Sea-Water Dragon Pattern and Double Elephant Handles is a rare imperial blue-and-white dragon-pattern porcelain piece of the Qianlong period. It features an open mouth, sloping shoulder, drooping belly and ring foot, with elephant-head-shaped handles on both sides, made of fine solid body with jade-like glossy glaze. The body is decorated with blue-and-white sea-water dragon patterns : the dragon is vigorous and powerful (sharp five claws, distinct scales), and the sea-water patterns are layered and turbulent; the blue-and-white color is rich and profound, fully demonstrating the Qianlong blue-and-white feature of "dense decoration and majestic momentum".
