Three Japanese Bronze Incense Burners 19th century the first having a compressed globular body, with silver inlaid chrysanthemum decoration, the reticulated cover surmounted by a seated shishi; the second with a baluster form body, cast with alternating quatrefoil panels enclosing birds and flowering branches, flanked by a pair of dragon head-form handles; the third of melon form with a leafy vine forming the cover, the underside cast with an apocryphal Xuande four-character mark.
