The figure is carved as Zhongli Quan, one of the Eight Immortals, with hair tied in buns at the temples and a long beard, he is wearing robes which are open at the chest and holds a fan in his right hand. The reverse is fitted with a gilt metal plaque inscribed 'shi mu' in seal script. He stands on a separately carved pierced rocky base. The stone is of a creamy tone with red inclusions.
Condition: The figure is in overall good condition apart from a few small chips to the edge of the robe.
The stone has natural flaw lines and inclusions.
