The charger is decorated to the interior with a scene of two pavilions within a walled fortification flying a large flag billowing in the wind below spiralling clouds and a gilt sun. The rim is decorated with a brocade band separated by the Eight Precious Objects in cartouches. The reverse is decorated with further auspicious symbols and the base with a lingzhi mark within a double circle in underglaze blue.
Condition: There are some chips to the rim and foot and wear to the enamels consistent with age and use.
