the rounded crestrail ending in outswept handrests supported by the curved extensions of the front legs and slightly curved back splat carved with a lappet-shaped cartouche, the seat frame with a shaped beaded edge apron, the whiplash curve of the front legs securing metal struts to the crest rail and metal strapwork on the structural joins and footrest
