* A Pair of Chinese Huanghuali Official's Hat Armchairs, Sichutouguanmaoyi qing dynasty (1644-1911) each having a shaped crestrail terminating in two protruding ends, above a slightly curved backsplat and a pair of rounded posts forming the legs, the curved armrails supported on tapering stiles, the soft-mat seat set within a square frame above an openworked apron, the rounded legs join by a footrail and stretchers. Each height 44 3/4 x width 24 1/2 x depth 20 inches.
