Two Biscuit Vases the first a black enameled example, the globular body carved with a sinuous dragon amongst clouds above a fish in waves, the shoulder decorated with blooming peonies underneath lappet leaves, the underside incised with a black enameled Qianlong six-character mark; the second a white example, the flattend body carved on both sides with two medallions showing confronting phoenix and dragons amidst clouds, divided by four be-ribboned auspicious emblems, the underside incised with an apocryphal Qianlong six-character mark.
