A Ruby-Ground Famille Rose Sgraffiato Porcelain Bowl daoguang period (1821-1850) with deep rounded sides rising from a short foot to a slightly flaring rim, the exterior painted with four roundels of various scholar's objects and antiques, all surrounded by floral sprays reserved against a ruby-red sgraffiato incised ground, the interior painted in underglaze blue with a central medallion enclosing flowers and rockery, surrounded by penoies and ruyi motifs, the recessed base bearing a Daoguang sixcharacter underglaze blue mark.
