Jade. China, Qing Dynasty, late 18th cent. to early 19th cent.
A very beautiful white jade baiyu featuring a sensitively designed spatula-like form. Wider toward the arched blade at the bottom, an eyelet above. About half of the surface shows relief, otherwise smooth. The archaic ornament displays rows of spirals. In the lower section are two fine ribs with lightly curved ends. Very lovely, entirely white translucence. 白玉佩 清朝, 公元18-19世纪 长6.8 厘米; 宽 1.5 厘米
LENGTH 6,8 CM
