The bowl crafted with rounded sides and supported on a tapered foot, the interior is decorated with a medallion enclosing Shoulao, the God of Longevity, beside a deer, and the exterior is finely decorated in underglaze blue with the Eight Daoist Immortals with their respective attributes riding on various sea creatures or plants, all on a ground of crashing puce-enamelled waves.

Compare a pair of very similar bowls from the Edward T. Chow Collection, first sold at Sotheby's Hong Kong, 19 May 1981, lot 530 and then again at Christie's London, 9 November 2010, lot 336. And a further bowl more recently sold at Sotheby's Hong Kong, 5 April 2017, lot 3706.
Condition: There are two fine hairlines to the rim (approx. 6.2 cm. long)
Otherwise the bowl appears to be in overall good condition, with light wear to enamel and a tiny iron spot to the rim.
