Each tea caddy is decorated to each side with a different pair of birds and flowers, including narcissus with two birds, hyacinth and an single bird, chrysanthemum and butterfly, and prunus and a single bird. The covers are surmounted by a Buddhist lion finial. Each caddy with an apocryphal Kangxi mark to the base.
Condition: One vase: a section restuck to the rim (approx. 4 cm. wide), with an associated hairline and chips infilled; there is a further fine hairline to the rim (approx. 2.5 cm. long)
The other vase: appears to be in overall good condition.
One cover: there is a shallow chip to the cover (approx. 2.2 cm. long), and some small infilled chips.
The other cover: appears to be in overall good condition.
