Description: A LARGE INSCRIBED IRANIAN BRONZE BASIN KHORASAN, 12TH CENTURY
The sheet-bronze basin with a scalloped rim, decorated with a large incised band of Kufic script to the inner rim, geometric lattice-work decoration of six-pointed stars to the interior, with a copper inlaid flower-form roundel to the centre, surrounded by six copper-inlaid crescent moons., the lattice-work decoration interspersed with decoration of hounds.
