A fine Japanese five part / four-case lacquered inro, Meiji period. Designed on one side with a large gilt decorated rooster with red lacquer comb and wattle within a landscape setting. The opposing side gilt decorated with a hen in a landscape. Artist signed and sealed in red on the underside base. Measures 3" high, 2.5" wide, 1" deep.
