A fine Chinese carved nephrite spinach jade censer and cover. Well carved and hollowed, the opposing side handles having a mythological animal head motif. Flared and fluted base (screws off) supporting a bulbous body. The lid cover carved to depict a qilin / mythological beast. Measures 8" high, 8" wide from end of handles, 4.75" diameter.
