China, Qing (Ching) Dynasty, ca. 1644 to 1912 (but certainly made much earlier than 1912). Celadon jade carving in the form of a child drumming. Small female child sits with large drum in her lap, drum stick in her left hand, strangely a bat (considered good luck) rests on the top of the drum. Adorable!
