Thailand, Sawankhalok school, ca. 14th to 15th century CE. A charming celadon kalong teapot or jarlet in the form of a dragon, with a profile head spout and a handle in the form of a sinuous tail. The shape of the body is quite elegant adorned with two incised rings around the shoulder and a cup-like lip. The entire surface is covered with a gorgeous light blue-green crackle glaze. Size: 5" W x 4" H (12.7 cm x 10.2 cm)
