The lid also shows eight petals as well as a small chrysanthemum shaped finial. The elegant handle is adorned with a ruyi form and counterbalanced by the tapered spout. The foot rim is a perfect accentuated circle. This ewer is related in form and fineness of carving as well as the quality of the white stone to others of Qianlong and Jiaqing date.
