Description: Meiji Period, Japan. The teapot with the mark of Seikozan at the base of the spout. The delicate pot of ribbed melon form with round gilt finial on the lid. Each vertical panel decorated with landscapes, exotic birds, scholars and maidens. The whole on a pale pink ground. The teapot is 2-3/4" tall x 2-1/2" in diameter.
