Description: A Fine Quality Qing Period Chinese Rosewood Tall Stand Table

Shaped rectangular top with four corner legs and deeply carved and pierced skirt containing four Bi discs and connecting zoomorphic scrolls, the top inlaid with a white marble panel.
Provenance: Brought to New Zealand by a family escaping from Singapore before the WWII battle with the Japanese on 15th Feb 1942. They have been here ever since and in storage for the last twenty years.
