Description: Old Nepalese (Chinese) or Tibetan bronze bejeweled deity. Features the form of Vajradhara Buddha. The four armed figure is seated on a lotus base and adorned with turquoise and a reticulated crown. Wonderful gold gilt surface. Measures 9 1/2" x 6 1/2". Good overall condition with wear consistent with age and several missing stones, distortion to metal. Bequest of John Bass to the Bass Museum of Art collection. Deaccession # 1979.432.
