A VINTAGE CHINESE PATINATED BRONZE CENSER, REPUBLIC PERIOD (1912-1949), elaborately cast with a reticulated squat bulbous body of stylized scrolling clouds centering sides modeled with Immortal figures holding attributes beneath a short neck of stylized fretwork and bamboo detailed rim flanked by sinuous four claw dragon handles centering a pierced domed lid with a handle modeled as a roaring dragon holding the pearl flanked by small dragon and scholar figures, raised on shaped blossoming lotus form feet and a conforming stand of spread winged bats and scrolling clouds enclosing a circular shou symbol.
