AN AMERICAN POLYCHROME SLIP GLAZED STUDIO POTTERY VASE, BY MICHAEL SAUL (AMERICAN/TEXAS 20TH CENTURY), of ovoid two handled form with robin's egg blue glazed body enclosing splotches of deep purple flambe, a variegated stone colored shaped rectangular window, reversing to a stylized trellis lozenge, with all slip glazes ending in natural dripping formation towards base revealing buff ceramic body, signed "Saul" on underside.
