The impressive vessel of lenticular section is decorated to the exterior with three registers of mei bosses between two bands of geometric design in low relief. The lower section of the bell is decorated with a geometric pattern of various depths. Each side is inscribed in seal script, one reading ?bozhong dishi nanlv?, and the other with a long inscription with an apocryphal ?Qianlong yuzhi? signature.
Condition: There are dents.
There is wear to the gilding.
Otherwise appears to be in overall good condition.
