Pr. Fancy Brass & Iron Wall Sconces. 3 graduated 6 panel shades, the smaller shades have leaded construction with filigree highlights, the lower shades have fancy filigree decorated frame work and pierced overlays. Excellent wall mounts at the top and bottom to support these heavy fixtures, has 3 sockets, one within each of the sections. Condition is as found when removed from theater by the consignor, very nice overall. Lamps were extracted from the old York Theater located in Athol MA. The movie theater was open Sept 1930 These pieces were crafted and installed by the Black & Boyd Mfg. Co. in the late 1920’s. Black & Boyd is an electric and gas lighting fixture manufacturer out of New York. Well known for their work on the New York Central and Hudson River Railroads, and many other locations throughout New England. The company would create pieces based on architect’s designs or prepare sketches upon request. 52 in. high x 10 in. dia. x 12 in. deep.
