A PAIR OF PARCEL GILT RED LACQUERED DRAGON AND PHOENIX RELIEF POEM COUPLET CAMPHOR PILLARS, IN THE IMPERIAL TASTE, ATTRIBUTED TO THE LATE QING DYNASTY (1644-1912), each respectively carved with profuse, high relief, writhing dragons or phoenix, centering carved, gilt poetry couplets, likely instructions encouraging lofty pursuits to a man and woman, ending on integral rocky bases, one with a dragon at top holds a single character that translates to king and a pearl of wisdom in the other claw.
