Various datesTwo cylindrical blue and white snuff bottles, one entirely decorated with Chinese characters, another with continuous scene of a scholar and attendant on terrace, both 7.8cm high; a flattened heart-shape bottle enamelled with continuous scene of scholar and attendant, archaistic mark to base, 6.5cm high; a copper-red flattened bottle with shou characters and bats, Qianlong four-character mark to base, 7.2cm high; two blue and white circular seal paste boxes, each with six-character hall mark, 4cm diameter; and a provincial blue and white rice bowl decorated with chilong dragons, 12.2cm diameter.All snuff bottles with stoppers. Provenance: from a collection amassed in Hong Kong during the late 1960s and early 1970s by an English civil engineer working on the first cross-harbour tunnel and later in the 1970s on the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) and now by descent to the current owner.
