A SOUTHEAST-ASIAN DAGGER, 19TH CENTURY

A flat, curved blade widening towards the center and an accentuated, sharp end. The sheath shows a file-like texture in some areas on both sides. The wooden handle with an anvil-shaped head is wrapped with fine wire and shows knobs on one side. The leather sheath has some red lacquer in areas and a metal part as well as a yellow leather strap.
