Large Fine, Chinese Ming Dynasty blue and white under-glazed porcelain charger, of a shallow vessel, the central reserved with two fishes amongst water foliate and blooms, enclosed within two fine rings conforming the cavetto. The rounded sides encircled by scrolling floral banquet, the shallow rim with a band of trailing cresting wavy Lishui waters. All reserved in blue against plain white under-glazed ground. The underside left un-glazed with orange-brown burnt base, and grayish-dark firing marks. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant finish that was applied by a meticulous glaze, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
