A Chinese Ming Sang de Beouf glazed bowl, Prob. of the period. Chinese Ji Red Glazed Porcelain Bowl. The deep vessel body having waisted wall to the flared rim, with flat base to the angled cavetto. Blue ribbon adorned the interior of the opening mouth. Exterior covered in a deep liver red glaze, the base and interior left white . The center interior hand painted with cobalt blue underglaze of double phoenix flying between flames and clouds. The overall impression is stately and elegant yet conventional. Marked on base, six blue script -KaiShu- characters within double blue rings, YongZheng Reign Period of Great Qing Dimension: 1-3/4" H x 3-1/2" Diam. (each)
