The dishes decorated in famille rose enamels with animals including crickets, dragonflies and frogs resting on flowers such as lotus, peony, sweet pea and roses, all against a cafe au lait ground, with bats in green enamel to the base. The centre of the base with a spurious six character mark in iron red for Daoguang.
