Description: AN INDIAN SILVER INLAID JAIN BRONZE PANCHATIRTHA CIRCA 17TH CENTURY
The five-Jina image, or Panchatirtha, with the central Jina seated in padmasana on a lion throne, with silver inlaid eyes and diamond shaped lozenge marking the chest, surmounted by a royal parasol and elaborate mandorla with figures including worshippers. To the reverse of the image is a lengthy Sanskrit inscription in Devanagari script.
