Description: A JAPANESE TENMOKU-GLAZED TEA BOWL, MARKED 'KOZAN' KYOTO, MEIJI/TAISHO PERIOD (1868-1926)
The wide stoneware tea bowl covered with a deep lustrous iron glaze, but with intentional large glaze skips to the exterior, revealing a burnt orange body beneath. Impressed mark reading Kozan to the base outside of the foot rim.
