Description: A LARGE NEPALESE BRONZE GROUP OF VISHNU AND LAKSHMI 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY
The group consisting of Vishnu, Lakshmi and Garuda atop a mythical lion, supported by a large and elaborate pierced double lotus base, with two holes where the original mandorla (now lost) would have fit. The double lotus base with a Newari inscription to the reverse.
