With an adjustable back, twin hinged arm supports and hinged baluster arm terminals, on ring turned baluster front legs terminating in brass cappings and castors, the splayed rear legs on brass castors, 70cm wide.

The rear of the seat frame on the present lot is mounted with a brass plaque which is engraved: 'J. ALDERMAN, Inventor, Patenter and Manufacturer, 16, Soho Square, London'.
