Dated July 17th, 1790, letter is a transcript a meeting of six chiefs of the Lower Towns, regarding a temporary truce between the Lower Creeks and Georgia and the subsequent actions that may harm the truce. Letter mentions a meeting at Rock Landing the previous summer and a agreement could not be reached but a temporary truce was agreed upon. Later several Creeks were shot at and one killed, they planned retaliation until they met Mr. John Galphin and did not follow through with the retaliation and would be at the Oconee for 2 moons to get satisfaction. Letter also lists items taken and when the man was killed. The meeting was attended by Holloway King, Smoking King, Dog Warrior, Second Man, Mad Warrior, and Red Shoes.
