A DEHUA CHILONG YUHUCHUN PING, KANGXI
China, Kangxi – Yongzheng period, 1662-1735. The pear-shaped bottle vase modeled with a finely detailed sinuous chilong crawling upwards the slender neck. Flaring curved lip and recessed circular base.
Provenance: G. Malina Inc., February 1st, 1974. Acquired by Mrs Gizela Gawromski of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, USA, from the above and thence by descent. The original purchase invoice is accompanying this lot. Old dealers label with manual inscription to base (see image online).
Condition: Absolutely perfect condition. Minor firing imperfection.
