Description: A CHINESE OR TIBETAN SADDLE AND STIRRUPS CIRCA 18TH/19TH CENTURY
The wooden framed saddle with black lacquered ray skin panels to the front and rear, bound in brass-inlaid iron work depicting dragons, the seat covered in later cushioned velvet with a tiger skin pattern, the saddle with original brass-inlaid matching iron stirrups and thick leather harness further embellished with brass inlaid iron panels along the length of the leather straps.
