Carved in the form of a walking elephant from multiple joined pieces of wood, with black and remant polychrome decoration, and part of the original iron pole remaining within the body.

Part of a simple fairground merry-go-round. These fairground rides were taken to local fairs, usually with just four wooden animals suitable for small children to ride on.
