Description: AN AFGHAN TURKOMAN SILVER AND CARNELIAN FOREHEAD DECORATION CIRCA 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY
Constructed from shaped panels containing flat-cut and cabochon carnelian gems, the panels joined together with silver rings, the whole with hanging pendants of hollow-work silver below.
