Description: A CHINESE LONGQUAN CELADON BOWL MING DYNASTY (1368-1644), 14TH/15TH CENTURY
Carved to the exterior with large Indian lotus petals, to the interior with scrolling foliage, and with impressed decoration of a flower to the centre, with an unglazed ring within the foot-rim on which the bowl was fired. The whole covered in a clear sea-green glaze, with pleasant broad glaze crackle throughout. Excellent sheen remaining to the glaze. Together with a fitted Japanese wooden box.
