Description: A CHINESE JADE FIGURE OF TWO DEER WITH LINGZHI FUNGUS MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
Carved from pale celadon green jade with with some grey and russet streaking, modelled as a male and female pair of deer with star-shaped incised carving to the bodies representing spots, the male holding a piece of lingzhi fungus in its mouth. Together with a 19th/early 20th century fitted wooden stand.
