Description: TWO KHMER BRONZE FIGURES OF UMA ANGKOR PERIOD, CIRCA 12TH CENTURY
The figures finely cast in bronze, depicting the Goddess Uma standing on a square plinth, wearing a dhoti and elaborate crown and jewels, holding a scroll in one hand and a lotus bud in the other, with a sweet smiling expression. Fine bronze verdigris patina to both figures. Both figures mounted on modern metallic bases.
The larger (together with base) 19.5cm high, 6cm wide
