Of conical form. The interior is smooth with red lacquer, the wickerwork covered with black lacquer shows three decorative elements painted with gold lacquer on the exterior, with gentian blossoms and leaves. The gentian or rindo is an old aristocratic emblem, used among others by branches of the important Minamoto.

Condition: Chips and other damage, padding and bands in good condition.
