Description
A RARE SHAGREEN-COVERED GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE, QING
China, 1644-1912. The snuff bottle is of a flattened globular shape with a flat foot, the glass body covered in a fine granular surface of shagreen. Celadon green glass stopper with a black platelet and a good spoon.
Condition: Minor wear and some losses to the shagreen.
Provenance: Hungarian private collection.
