A CHAM REPOUSSé GOLD TUBE-SHAPED PENDANT
Champa, c. 10th – 12th century. A single long biconical gold tube, due to its size most probably formerly used as a central pendant of a gold necklace, possibly also as one element of many. Decorative markings towards the center executed in repoussé.
Condition: Very good condition.
Provenance: A private owner, acquired from the collection of Dr. Istvan Zelnik several years ago.
