Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong deep blue monochrome porcelain Meiping jar. The porcelain shaped into a traditional Meiping form, thick potted, with a narrow base, wide body, slender neck easing to form a petite opening, with emerging slight ring line mouth rim, raised on round flat foot base. All reserved masterfully covered in an even coat of a deep blue glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white underglaze. The blue glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. There is not any overlap of the outlines, its well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct.
