Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong tea dust glazed mallet vase. The porcelain potted in a slightly flattened globular body, thick , with round shoulder gently raised the cylindrical tall neck toward the straight mouth rim, raised on flat round foot base. Covered overall in pale green under glazed with densely dusted , with attractive green pale toward upper rim on a green pale porcelain body with golden-yellow speckles pattern covered all the vase. The Iridescent Green pale, gilt splashes and streaks characteristic of this glaze are described as yao Bian, or transmutation glaze and resulting from transmutation of colloidal copper, iron, or other metallic materials into suffusions breaking up the glaze surface. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
