The porcelain shaped into a traditional Meiping form, large, thick and tall potted, wide body on the shoulder, slender neck easing to form a narrow opening, with emerging slight flaring ring mouth rim, raised on round foot base, with slight concave. The main body decorated with five claws imperial dragon soaring amidst flames and vapors, with face and upper right appendage outstretched toward the heavens. Vigorous dragons chasing flaming pearl amidst flames against cobalt blue color scrolling cumulus clouds. The backdrop depicts swirling wind and fire painted atop a beautiful white under glaze. The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark grayish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
