Extraordinary, Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong famille jaune & blue dragon square vases on stands. The Finest Porcelain potted in amphora vase, large and tall, in a hexagonal body, straight sides, tapered gracefully toward straight tall neck leading to a slightly incurved rim, raised on a hexagonal flat foot base, keeps this vase from tipping over easily. All reserved in famille jaune underglaze base color which contrast against the cobalt fine blue color. Meaning the "yellow family". This is a variant of the famille verte enamel palette in which the ground is covered with lemon yellow enamel. The main body delicately decorated with five claws imperial dragon soaring amidst flames and vapors, with face and upper right appendage outstretched toward the heavens. Vigorous dragons chasing flaming pearl amidst flames against cobalt blue scrolling clouds diaper. The backdrop depicts swirling wind and fire painted atop a beautiful lemon yellow underglaze, enclosed with double fine blue rings lines. The neck adorned with same hand painted of dragon in the moon medallion form, among flying Fu-bat and cumulus clouds, enclosed with scrolling ruyi on the upper mouth rim. Interlocking key fret decorated and banded on the shoulder and the foot base rim, enclosed with double fine blue rings lines. Elegantly presented upon a carved hardwood stand carved with flowers blooms and scrolling tendril, raised with eight sturdy legs. The Elaborately carved hardwood frame perfectly accentuates this work of art. The Lines of the drawings are clear, the light and dark shades are subtle. The porcelain conformed all required specimen to be high valued Chinese porcelain wares, with finest material, the whiteness, the glaze, and the carving. Without overlap the outlines of the design, well carved, clear, subtle, distinct, and the shape is uniformly proportioned.
